Welcome to Bayez AI. By accessing or using our application and website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Bayez AI is a local-first AI data analysis platform that enables users to clean, visualize, and gain insights from their data. The Service includes four core features:

- AI-Data Visualization: Automated 13-stage analysis pipeline for CSV and Excel files.
- AI-Time Series: Time-based data forecasting and visualization.
- AI Graph: Knowledge graph generation from PDF documents.
- Data Converter: PDF/DOCX conversion, file merging, and table extraction (free for all users).

All AI processing runs locally on the user's machine via Ollama. No file data is transmitted to our servers.

2. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscription Tiers

Bayez AI offers two subscription tiers:

Basic Plan:
- Access to all AI features
- 1 file per session (up to 15 MB)
- Fast AI mode (Gemma3 1B model)
- Up to 3 concurrent sessions

Pro Plan:
- Access to all AI features
- Up to 5 files per session (up to 100 MB each)
- Pro AI mode (Gemma3 4B model) for deeper analysis
- Multi-PDF knowledge graph extraction
- Priority session handling

Data Converter is available to all users at no cost regardless of subscription tier.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- Upload files containing illegal, harmful, or malicious content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service
- Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

5. AI Output Disclaimer

Bayez AI uses AI models to generate analysis, insights, and visualizations. While we strive for accuracy:

- AI-generated outputs are provided for informational purposes only
- Outputs should not be used as sole basis for critical business, financial, medical, or legal decisions
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any AI-generated content

6. Intellectual Property

All outputs generated by Bayez AI from your data belong to you. The Service itself, including its interface, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Bayez AI and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without permission.

7. Payments & Cancellations

Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bayez AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
